The only way for a Button to have an animation in it is to have a Movie
Clip dropped on its timeline. And as long as you don't have a Stop
action in the Movie Clip it will play when the state of the button you
placed it in is Active.
If you want better control use external Movie Clips and control from the
Button Instance.
