Your simple animation is 163K which is quite large just for this

rotating Text. The gradients are obviously imported. Removing them and

replacing with Flash gradients should reduce the size substantually.

There are lots of little things you could do (optomize curves, ungruop)

that will also reduce the size of the animation.

Flat fills cost nothing if applied in Flash and gradients applied in

Flash cost little. Reducing this animation to 10-20K should be fairly

easy. The added benefit is that the resulting image will probably look

better too.
