This is generally the case of Flash trying to convert a Type1 (PostScript)
font to it's own proprietary outline format for purposes of embedding it in
the Shockwave file. Under certain conditions, this won't work (with
anything earlier than ATM 4.0 Deluxe under Win95/98, and sometimes not at
all under Windows NT, regardless of ATM version).
If it worked before, however, it sounds like Flash may merely be getting
confused as to which one to use and is grabbing the Type1 version of a font
for whyich you also have a TrueType version installed.
I wasn't aware that Flash identified fonts by position in the font list,
but this could be the case. It would appear that, with your installation of
IE4 and some its bundled fonts, that the number of installed fonts has
changed, and thereby, the numeric position in the list of certain fonts,
possibly ones you are using in your Flash movie.
Unfortunately, Flash doesn't give you any indication, in the font list, as
to the type of font you're trying to use, whether it is Type1 or TrueType.
If you have a reasonable font manager, you might try uninstalling the Type1
version of the font you're calling for in the Flash movie, leaving only the
TrueType version installed.
