Subject: | FLASH: Bug in the Mac standalone player? (As well as projector.....) |

Hi gang!
Lately, I have been utilizing Flash as a presentation tool, for my sales staff. (Glorified
PowerPoint stuff when you really boil it down, but much more robust. Non-web-based as well.)
Here's the prob:
I am developing on a Mac, and my files almost always work o.k. within a browser, (I.E. and
Netscape), but sometimes do NOT as a standalone player. Both versions work beautifully on the PC
(doh!).
The only thing I have been able to diagnose, is that the versions that are not working on the Mac
side, are those with higher-res (sometimes even low-res) bitmaps placed into the movie. More often
than not, I get a red rectangle the same size and shape as whatever placed image is in the scene.
Occasionally, the file wont even OPEN within the standalone player.
Now I have tested this on 5 different Macs, and several PC's, and I can't figure out how to fix it.
The PC version NEVER fails me, but the Mac is letting me down lately.
Is this a known bug?
Any ideas?
Thanks!.....
