Subject: RE: FLASH: Detecting AOL Browsers/and/or limitations?

Hi Jason,

We're working on an ultimate detection that includes AOL detection. Our
discoveries may even be merged with the new Flash Deployment Kit, if we're
lucky ;)

We also try to identify these kinds of problems and nail them before you get
e-mails that your movie crashes browsers, or doesn't work, or . . .

You could join our list, if not already, and stay on top of our continuing
efforts. We should be real close now.

Is there any way to detect an AOL browser? I've had a couple of reports
saying that my shake function crashes AOL browsers... as much as I'd like to
ignore them, quite a few do end up visiting my site. If there isn't a way to
detect them, what are the limitations as far as javascript and dHTML and
what not?

Thanks!
jb
