Perhaps this isn't the most elegant solution, but when necessary (especially
for Intranet environments), I think it would work.
Use the same swf in as many different html pages as will need to be
bookmarkable. In each page, pass the value of a document.URL function to
Flash, which will use that value to determine which label it should go to.
This will require changing pages each time a new segment of the movie is
entered, but since the file will be cached, it will only be a nuisance on
really slow computers.
Does this sound like a decent solution? If no one spots any immediate
problems, I'll make up an example.
