FLASH: Flash track in QT bug?

I have a QT movie with an overlayed flash track. It works on some machines

properly, on others (MacG3 450, OS8.6, and P3, Nvidia, NT4sp all with

Qt4.01-4.1-no apparent difference between different plug versions- it plays

with a white screen as soon as the flash track loads, then if you sit

through that to the end, and rewind it plays fine. On some other machines,

it plays the white screen + sound only. This is all when embed'd in an HTML

page (tested as above with MSIE4-5, Mac/Win, NS 4-4.6, Mac/Win). On all

machines, when the .mov is called directly, it plays fine. Can folks with a

wide pipe (mov is ~3MB) check these for me, (I am beginning to suspect it is

a LAN problem) or give me any advice you all may have on making Flash and QT

work together. Maybe it just is not a good idea?

If it works, about 3/4 of the way through an animated flash link pops up

that can be clicked, if it doesn't work, you get a white screen after the

logo in the first few frames...
