Don't know if this helps but here's a little trick for the product shots.
Once had to do a site for a major clothing manufacturer and they wanted the
product shots to be dead on. We took the hi-res print catalogue scans ( 300 to
600 ppi) into Photoshop, reduced the view down using the magnifying glass and
then took a screen shot. You could see the weave in a shirt, they were so
clear. Best off all the shots came in at screen resolution.
