But if you had a cgi or asp or other mailer program somewhere at

bloodykisses (or whatever site you want to target, Jason), you could

presumably mail from your standalone program by setting a variable to

blahblah [dot] com

 and then doing a

LoadVariables("http://bloodykisses.com/mailer.pl", 0, vars=POST),

couldn't you?  That's assuming that a .pl file would open a

browser--maybe it would have to be .asp or .cgi or something else that

would default to the browser.  And it might open IE (like geturls to

html files do) instead of Netscape even if Netscape is the default

browser, so it might not be a great universal solution.
