Didn't get to check it out cos I am on a modem connection and I was waiting

for over a minute to see just 'Loading Images' [1st grumble]


Secondly, does the site use Load Movie. If so, then MAC IE 4.5 won't deal

with it. Unsure of NN 4.08. [2nd grumble]


Make sure you talk to the client, and not via email. He is obviously p****d

off and is griping big time. Talk to him and find out exactly what he means

by "...is totally unusable on at least one Macintosh with both Internet

Explorer 4.5 and Netscape 4.08". Where exactly, and what happens, or not.

Why not ALL MACS? Why not PCs? Check he has the right version of Flash

etc...


However, what I was surprised with , was your detection of the correct Flash

Ver and Rel on MAC IE 4.5!


The FlashComp could do with that knowledge at the mo'... there is a mailing

list [low volume] that is dealing with creating the 'ultimate browser

sniffer'. See the posts further down/up in this list to get more info.


btw Flash 4.0r28 does not exist on a MAC so your statement saying that I

need it is irrelevant...


oh, and I have seen the site b4 and DO like it. My comments are more

specific to your needs.
