FLASH: Sound Question - 44Hmz to 22 mono

Looking for a little sound help. when I sample a sound or an effect it

usually ends up in PCM 44,100Mhz, 16-bit, Stereo format. I would like to

convert a file like this to PCM 22,050, 8-bit, Mono to reduce the file size

and still keep some level of quality. I have SoundForge 4.0 but can't

really figure out how to do this optimally. Can someone point me in the

right direction? Thanks! -Thomas
