To be honest I have not been to impressed with some of the Shocked sites of
the day. They often offer little or nothing in flash or there is not much to
the design elements.

Just a moment of your time...
I was noticing the Shocked Site of the Day today, and it's the
XMen-the-movie.com web site.
Notice the "trickery" used versus the attempting to use anything that
resembles something true flashers would use.
Heck, notice the way the "mouseOver" event on the www.mutantwatch.com
link moves itself a bit.
How the heck do people choose these sites? I'm just curious; I think
I'd be a little un-proud of myself if I let something that has a lot
of...shortcuts in it, versus spending the time to actually get something
right.
