Shuan,

    I had the same problem a few weeks ago and it turned out to be a problem

with my ISP which, it turned out, was under a DoS attack.


the symptoms:

Try to download my email and at a certain point in the download ( same email

each time) Outlook Express would crash. Filtering that message did not help.

After a few tries I could not even log on to my email server and got a

password is not recognized message.


    I finally called my ISP and they told me about the problem which was on

their end.
