I have found that a fine line between BG and TXT contrast. Too much
contrast - fuzz. Too little - hard to distinguish between BG and text.

text fields with fonts outlined are better . . . and the contrast is a
tweaky thing too . . .

Anyway I did a little experiment a while back and now put it online at
