since you've worked very little with databases, the first thing you
should do is brush up on how to create tables, when to use more than
one, and how to populate them.. you know, the basics. get yourself a sql
book and focus on "create, insert, update, delete". and as far as ASP,
I've no idea except for that article on the ASPToday
(http://www.asptoday.com/articles/19991001.htm). They make it seem real
easy. I personally have been using Server Side JavaScript to have flash
get/set data from a database, so if you go that route and have
questions, I have plenty of answers. Try that ASP article... it should
get you started in the right direction. There's also a flash database
list but I'm not sure of the url to sign up.
indeed it will be a challenge.. but once you grasp it... it'll be worth
it.
