Subject: FLASH: Get URL and Closing Window
From: Jonathan Rose

Anyone know how to load an HTML document in another window from an
onMouseEvent in a Flash movie? I would like to load a page from the
Flash movie in a different window and then close the window that houses
the Flash movie. I can't use "TARGET="anyname" as the window I would
like to target is not housed in a frameset. I have tried writing a
JavaScript and putting the function call in the get URL field that looks
like this:

javascript:closeWindow('anyname.html')

and publishing the flash document with the FS template but it does not
seem to work. Any thoughts appreciated!
