"A rose by any other name...." Sounds to me like Netscape is trying to pull an "Apple" here.
In other words: try to drive themselves out of business. Being a fan of Netscape (but forced
to use IE) I can only hope that it doesn't destroy them and "... that which doesn't kill them will
only make them stronger". Sort of like Apple. Long live CEO Jobs!

PS- Yes, I use a PC... until I can afford a totally tricked G4.
