Hi all, working on a QT with flash track movie. Having some wierd trouble
with the flash track not showing on some browsers. Win98/QT 4.01 ok in both
IE and NS 4.5, Ok in Mac MSIE 5 w/QT 4.1, but not ok (so far) in Mac NS 4.7
w/QT 4.1, yet ok in Mac NS 4.03 w/QT 4.01? Wierd, huh? This site is in early
beta, aimed at isdn+ connections, a good part of using Flash in this case is
to add interactivity to the QT, however we may need to use Livestage if the
Flash track is going to be buggy?
If folks (with either broadband or patience;-) could check
http://www.bigtimeweb.com/btw.html and see if clickable picture shows up ~
1/3 of the way through the movie (after the blond sits down) I'd much
appreciate it!
All the flash track contains is a keyframed button with get url, it works
most of the time, but sometimes mysteriously does not...
I did notice that the mime type comes up as 'unknown' never noticed a
problem with QT and MIME before, but would this cause a problem for the
Flash track _w/in_ a QT?
I also noticed on my WIn98 box, with NS, the picture did not show up when I
was using jpeg compression when exporting from Flash, however changing the
compression to PNG fixed it there...
TIA!
