Personally I've had the problem of every time I launch navigator it ask me
that question (even thougth I check the box that says do not perform this
check in the future). Even IE will stop asking after checking that box. Is
this a case of MS playing nicer than Netscape :)

the default is set in your OS...

If you're on windows, then use VIEW->FOLDER OPTIONS-->FILETYPES
to change what program your HTM and HTML files are opened with. (This
is probably not a solution for people who don't know their way around
windows fairly well). You could also try reinstalling netscape...often it
will
ask you if you want to make it your default browser.

If you're on a different OS, you'll have to find out how to change the
default
browser in that OS.
