Subject: FLASH: Dynamic Flash content...
From: Phil Ward

Hi All,

Calling text variable wizards...

I am creating a series of maps which have roll over pop up menus, I would
like to be able to dynamically update the information which appears from a
text file, I know that Generator would be the ideal tool for this job, but
is there a way to call the content from a text file and have it appear in
the right places.

I have played with the idea without much luck, a bit green when it comes to
variables and text substitution.

I have posted a test to www.crescent-graphics.co.uk/map if anyone requires
the fla let me know.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great,
tutorials etc, BTW stage two of this project, the ideal solution, would be
to have a database feed populate the pop up menus as the data changes on a
regular basis...time to dive into Generator I suppose.

Regards
