FLASH:mask question

Hi!

I just discovered that masking not really working with multiple graphic symbols..

I need to mask my text under 20 separate boxes.. those boxes are on the masking layer

Is this any trick to do it witout drawing all 20 boxes??????

I can draw those 20 boxes and then convert it to symbol and it will work, ..but size...
