Hi, I'm working on my first complete flashsite, sort of an animated
portfolio about my graphic and illustrative work. I want to include a
mailform but I can't get it to work. I've been looking in all the
tutorials I could find and seeking in all my (newly bought) flashbooks.
These are the codes my provider gives me to put in the html-document.
But were and how do I put them in flash? And must some of it be placed
in the html-page too?
<FORM ACTION="/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl" METHOD="POST">
(=the script used by the provider)
<input type=hidden name="recipient" value="Bert [dot] Deyaertping [dot] be">
(=sais were the message must be sent to)
Now I made forms using Golive before, but have no clue 'bout doing it in
flash.
And can I, while the users hits the 'send'-button, lead him to another
frame, were I can thank him for writing me? In this early stage of
learning flash, I try to avoid using a database. (Although I'll probably
have to get into that stuff later) One step at a time!
TIA and have a great weekend!!!
