DISCOVERY - viewing movie clips WITHIN the flash authoring environment

Flashers!


Just came across a trick (bug?) to be able to see flash movie clips

within the stage timeline. Current wisdom holds that you cant see your

movie clips on the stage and you can only see them if you export your

movie.


Well you can! Just make them a graphic!


1- place movie clip on canvas

2- double click to edit its properties

3- make it a graphic

4- (set it to play once if that movie clip doesnt loop)



Viola! You can now see it play out in the timeline!


When you are done positiong it, just make it a movie clip again.
