Hi Andrew,
In your html set devicefont = "true". This will then use the fonts
installed on the persons machine NOT just a vector outline. Machines
without that font will get the outline. Note, however DeviceFont changes
all the Fonts available on the users system to system fonts, whether
small or large. Flash does much better with larger fonts on most systems
so devicefont is of value only if you are using only very small fonts.
Also when using Devicefont you may no longer have what you see is what
you get, but rather what you set is what you get. If you changed the
size of a font with Flash's scaling instead of the font size it will not
be reflected when using Devicefont='true".
Another possible solution is with downloadable fonts and DHTML layers,
but it is only available for 4 browsers and Flash can interact only with
IE4 right now. Also, there may be a larger download and more trouble
than you might wish to implement. Netscape and MSIE use two completely
different and incompatible embeded font systems.
