In our office we have recently aquired a few new Micron machines. When first set up, none of them would view flash. It appeared to load and when you right clicked on the screen the Flash control menu was displayed. After speaking with MM, we were asked what video card the machine had. It appears that certain video cards need to have the default color bit set differently.

I'm sorry, I don't remember what cards they were, and since I'm not in the office I can't check.

Hope this helps the situation.

I also tested on a 486 running IE3 with Flash already installed. The
page automatically downloaded flash (after asking me) and the showed me
the broken plug-in "X" as you describe. I was unable to view the
content at the address given in IE 3. However, when I go directly to
www.puligeneral.com/puge-incos.swf, I get Flash loading normally, but
just a white screen.
