Subject: | Wait for frame, waiting longer. |

Hiya Flashers,
Wondering if anyone really experienced with "wait for frame" can answer
this one.
Ive got a .swf 300 kbs. Ive calculated that I need at least 60 kbs
to load so the rest of the movie goes smoothly with no "chokes".
How I did this was scroll over the first few frames and copied
them into a "new" movie and then exported to find out how many frames
equaled 60 kbp. Then I simply assigned my "wait for frame" command
to wait for the frame where 60 kbs would finish loading.
When I exported movie to server and test I notice that
close to 200= kbs wants to load before the movie starts playing. I can
see this as
the .swf loads in cache.
Does anyone know what the deal is?
Heres a simple breakdown.
frame 5= wait for frame 700(extra frames set to 696
(frames 1-700 hold 60 kbs)
frame 700 = goto and play frame 20(where the movie starts)
(movie wont start till 200+ kbs load)
Is there a bug here or is it me.
-DG-
any help would be most appreciated.
