...or you could see this list as a useful forum for exchanging information.
I don't think it's too far fetched to see this list and to a certain extent
the network of people that makes up the new media community as a
collaborative filter for new media news. I think you're being a tad unfair
(and let's not forget the handy PR folks get from being involved in these
articles)
