Re: the NeoPlanet discussion

Just to complicate things further, Neoplanet has a competitor: Taxi Interactive.

Has anyone used this? I'm not going to go into a prolonged (public) critique
as they are a client of ours.

However, some general comments:

The approach seems pretty successful. When I first came across the product
I didn't think there was much of a market for the product - and that it would
be aimed mainly at your newbie. Which in many cases it is.

However the approach has a lot more flexibility than a "classic" web portal. And
as time passes and the deluge of useless websites continues the market
for products like this will only increase. Or not?

Is there a saturation point with such products? Say once the online
demographic levels off (ha!) what percentage will use website based
gatewaye/portals/jump points and what percentage will use neoplanet / taxi
style
products?

Taxi's URL is http://www.mytaxi.com/ - I'd be interested in hearing what
people think.

Even more interesting would be a features comparison w/NeoPlanet.

Later,

Zaid
