Personally, I would baulk at paying 75-100 quid to spend "Queue Year's Eve" 

engaging in a skirmish to reach club door / cloakroom / bar / toilets, 

etc.  Nooooo way.


House parties are a better option... so long as they take place in someone 

else's house !
