That's mighty big of you - but you know very well that this kind of referral
scheme encourages thousands of wannabe spammers to 'try it on' and your
closing their account *after* the fact does nothing to stop Usenet and
similar community forums from being crowded with their clumsy attempts to
bring in the moolah.

No matter how much you are officially 'against' it, your set-up by its very
nature encourages it. It's all very well to have 'stringent rules and
regulations', but considering that the majority of your users and greedy
and/or feeble-minded can you really expect them to pay attention to such
things?

Get into a better line of work, Damian. If nothing else, at least you'll be
able to sleep better.
