UKNM: Financiers' thirst for cash

There was an interesting story on FT.com today regarding the reluctance of

financiers to throw money at new economy businesses.


"Except for the very best brands, companies that don't have a business model

that will generate cash in the next 18 months will be unable to find

financing. It's not a question of terms. It's just not available." says Mr

Kotlery, vice-chairman of Gilbert Global Equity Partners, a private equity

fund.
