Personally I can't stand these kind of competitions because they 

bring out the worst in people  who suddenly are your bestest buddy 

even though you've never heard of them.


People also use their various email accounts to enter - so instead 

of the three friends etc. going to the site it's just the same person 

going in under various another.com accounts, hotmail accounts, 

free isp accounts, - whilst another group will enter for their entire 

family, the family they haven't got, any assorted pets, any pets or 

family dead or otherwise their neighbours have - just to enter.. 

Which I guess helps to inflate the old database marketing list a tad.


.. still I guess that is better than emailing me. Under any other 

guise it'd be called Spam, stick a prize on the end and it's 

marketing - funny old game!


People will be saying pop up banners are cool next...
