But you aren't taking issue with me. I said that the
purpose is to entertain not to inform and they they
pre-select their story line. I did not say that they
do not do any research. Nor did I say that their
storylines were, of necessity, untrue. Truth,
however, is irrelevant to the issue of whether it
makes good television.
